Our Services
As one of the largest private equine veterinary practices in Scotland, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional service to our clients and their horses. We run a 24/7 ambulatory service, caring for all types of horses, ponies and donkeys across central Scotland.
Since opening in 2005, our custom-built, fully-equipped equine hospital in Lanark has treated thousands of first opinion and referral cases.
It has hospitalisation facilities with stabling for 11 horses, an outdoor ménage and field, a large examination area with a non-slip floor for routine examinations and custom-made stocks for endoscopy, reproductive examinations, dental work and standing surgery.
The hospital is specially designed so that we can conduct lameness examinations undercover or on flood-lit outdoor areas, and has an undercover trot up and a large soft area to observe horses being ridden.
The site also has a convenient loading bay for assisting the loading or unloading of patients, a bone scanning suite, an operating theatre and induction room for general anaesthesia, a gantry-mounted x-ray machine and an in-house laboratory.
