Animal Division of the Clyde Veterinary Group was formed on the 1st of August 2003 following the merger of Acorn Veterinary Centre and Clyde Valley Veterinary Centre and is divided into three separate divisions, i.e. equine,
farm and small
animal, co-ordinated from our main purpose-built branch at Lanark.
The small animal division operates over four centres in Lanark, Wishaw, Auchenheath and Carluke and, despite the changes in the provision of emergency care by many other veterinary practices in South West Scotland, we are still dedicated to providing all of our own 24 hour emergency services. As such should you phone us at any time of the day or night you can be guaranteed to speak to one of our usual veterinary surgeons.
We treat all forms of first opinion problems in cats, dogs, small mammal pets, birds, fish and reptiles. The team of small animal veterinary clinicians is led by Niall Kenny and Hans Lambert, with Jacqui Dick, Jenny Milner, Lynne Whitefield and Joanna McCagherty as the assistants.
The practice also actively promotes the development of qualified veterinary nursing staff, and our team of excellent nurses is lead by Pamela Kay.
