The Small Animal Division is centred in a purpose-built premise by New Lanark market in the town of Lanark. This allows us to provide the most appropriate environment for the comfort and treatment of our client’s pets.

As an important part of this the building includes separate kennel wards for cats and dogs, enabling us to ensure as stress-free an environment as possible for your pet during their stay with us. These are also fully air-conditioned and provided with piped oxygen for the care of our more severely ill patients.

The anaesthetic and surgery suite at this small animal centre is one of the best in this part of Scotland and aims to provide the cleanest environment in which to perform all our operations. Once again these rooms are fully air-conditioned and provided with piped oxygen.

We also have our own fully equipped laboratory providing us with detailed information from which to provide the most rapid and effective diagnosis.

Although the practice is based in Lanark we have branches in Wishaw, Auchenheath, and Carluke which allow us to provide a wider service to our clients within South Lanarkshire.

The branches at Wishaw and Auchenheath provide a full veterinary service, with Wishaw, in addition, having a dog hydrotherapy pool to hasten recovery from surgical procedures and allowing us to deal with more chronic bone and joint problems. In our constant efforts to maintain a quality service we also intend to begin construction of  a new purpose-built clinic at Auchenheath within the next 18-24 months. The Carluke branch currently only includes consulting rooms, with the investigation of any case going to one of our other sites.
