Directions from Forth Road Bridge to Clyde Vet Group, Lanark,

At the Forth Road Bridge follow signs for M8 (Glasgow direction) and
leave the M8 at junction 4
Head South onto A705 sign posted signposted Whitburn
Through East Whitburn and take first left (signposted A706 and Lanark)
Stay on the A706 through Longridge, through Forth until you reach a roundabout.
Turn 1st exit onto A721 (signposted for Peebles)
After approximately 1 mile turn right onto A70 (signposted Ayr and Lanark)
Continue through Carstairs Village, pass Newhouse Caravan Park on the right, cross railway bridge.
Turn left onto A70 (signposted Ayr)
At T junction turn right onto Hyndford Road A73 (signposted Lanark)
At second roundabout take 1st exit then immediate left.
Arrive at Clyde Vet Group Equine Hospital         

Directions from West of Edinburgh to Clyde Vet Group, Lanark,

Get onto the M8.
At junction 4 leave the M8
Head South onto A705 sign posted signposted Whitburn
Through East Whitburn and take first left (signposted A706 and Lanark)
Stay on the A706 through Longridge, through Forth until you reach a roundabout.
Turn 1st exit onto A721 (signposted for Peebles)
After approximately 1 mile turn right onto A70 (signposted Ayr and Lanark) continue through Carstairs Village, pass Newhouse Caravan Park on the right, cross railway bridge.
Turn left onto A70 (signposted Ayr)
At T junction turn right onto Hyndford Road, A73 (signposted Lanark)
At second roundabout take 1st exit then immediate left.
Arrive at Clyde Vet Group Equine Hospital    

Directions from South and East of Edinburgh to Clyde Vet Group, Lanark ***************** (see note at bottom)
Leave Edinburgh on the A 702
After leaving Biggar take the A72 towards Symington and Lanark.
Continue through the village of Symington until a T junction when you turn right onto the A73. 
Continue on the A 73 until the traffic lights when you turn right over Hyndford Bridge (sign posted Lanark). 
Continue on the A73 towards Lanark and at the second roundabout take first left exit then immediate left.
Arrive at Clyde Vet Group Equine Hospital. 

Directions from the Borders to Clyde Vet Group, Lanark ***************** (see note at bottom)
Take the A72 out of Peebles until Blyth Bridge
Bear left onto the A72 signposted Glasgow
At T junction turn right onto the A721 signposted Glasgow ***************** (see note at bottom)
At junction turn left onto the A702 towards Biggar
After leaving Biggar take the A72 towards Symington and Lanark.
Continue through the village of Symington until a T junction when you turn right onto the A73. 
Continue on the A 73 until the traffic lights when you turn right over Hyndford Bridge (sign posted Lanark). 
Continue on the A73 towards Lanark until reaching the second roundabout. 
Take first left exit then immediate left.
Arrive at Clyde Vet Group Equine Hospital. 

Directions from Ayr to Clyde Vet Group, Lanark.

Leave Ayr on the A70 heading for Cumnock,
Continue on A70 through Cumnock, Muirkirk, Douglas and Rigside.
Turn left over Hyndford Bridge (signposted Lanark and Edinburgh)
Continue on A73 (signposted Lanark)
At second roundabout take 1st exit then immediate left
Arrive at Clyde Vet Group Equine Hospital

Directions from Stirling and North to Clyde Vet Group, Lanark.

Take the M80, then A80, then M73, then M74.

If you are unsure of roads continue on the M74 get off at Junction 11 (signposted Happendon services), go past the service station, come to a round about and take the first exit onto the A70 (sign posted Edinburgh).
Turn left over Hyndford Bridge (signposted Lanark and Edinburgh)
Continue on A73 (signposted Lanark)
At second roundabout take 1st exit then immediate left
Arrive at Clyde Vet Group Equine Hospital

If you know roads you can go a more direct route from the M74.
Get off M74 at Junction 7, at T junction turn left into Clyde valley on the A72. At round about take first exit (still the A72) and continue down the hill to Garrion bridge. Go over the bridge and take the first exit, the A71. Approximately ½ mile up the hill take the right turn onto B7011 signposted for Law. After ¾ of a mile (before Law) turn right (signposted Carluke). When entering Carluke go straight over the roundabout and continue until reaching traffic lights in centre of town.  Take the first right onto the A73 signposted Lanark. Continue into Lanark and go to the top of the High Street.  The road then splints and you need to take the right side of Oxfam (Bannatyne Street) continue on this road until you reach a roundabout.  Take the second exit onto Hyndford Road.  Approximately one mile further out you reach another roundabout. Take the right turn, Clyde Vet group is straight ahead.  

Directions from Kilmarnock and the west to Clyde Vet Group, Lanark.

Take the A71 though Strathaven and Stonehouse before reaching Canderside Toll roundabout. Go straight over when you will find your self under the M74 at Junction 8.

If you are unsure of roads take the right turn onto the Southbound M74, get off at Junction 11 (signposted Happendon services), go past the service station, come to a roundabout and take the first exit onto the A70 (sign posted Edinburgh).

If know roads you can go more a direct route from the M74.
Continue down the hill into the Clyde Valley past the Shawlands Hotel and straight through the traffic lights in the village of Shawsburn.  At roundabout take second exit (A72) and continue down the hill to the Garrion bridge. Go over the bridge and take the first exit, the A71. Approximately ½ mile up the hill take the right turn onto B7011 signposted for Law. After ¾ of a mile (before Law) turn right (signposted Carluke). When entering Carluke go straight over the roundabout and continue until reaching traffic lights in centre of town.  Take the first right onto the A73 signposted Lanark. IMPORTANT NOTE

There is a low bridge in Symington on the A72.
If driving a high sided vehicle, take the A721 through the village of Elsrickle to Carnwath.
Then continue on the A70 until the T Junction.
Turn left to Carstairs.
Continue through Carstairs Village, pass Newhouse Caravan Park on the right, cross railway bridge.
Turn left onto A70 (signposted Ayr)
At T junction turn right onto Hyndford Road A73 (signposted Lanark)
At second roundabout take 1st exit then immediate left.
